Stakeholder Engagement

Stakeholders continue to have a direct influence on how we conduct our business. WRG interfaces with a broad spectrum of interested parties, ranging from our neighbours and customers, to our employees and regulators.

Significant Risks/Environmental Aspects

Stakeholder aspects continue to require our vigilance. In 2008, over 50% of accidents within the Group were attributed to third party activities; this includes contractors, customers and members of the public who were on our sites. Continued focus is placed upon induction and supervision of all visitors to our sites and pro-active steps towards ensuring the protection of third parties’ health, safety and welfare.
